I discovered this inspirational poem on Medium. It is written by Ted Czukor and I wanted to share it with you.
The Mantra saved his mortal life, time and time again.
Only uttered silently, its secret kept from men.
It never failed to do its job, always calmed his fears
No matter what the danger was, no matter place or years.
A New York subway late at night, his date a lovely girl –
And in their carriage five young men who made his neck hairs curl.
His death so close, her rape at least in graffiti dirt and grease.
But the Mantra made them change their minds. They left them both in peace.
A universal combo vibe, Father God and Mother
Male and Female energies, Above, Below and Other.
Attunement with the Cosmos, handed down through ages
Adept to initiate, in ceremonial stages.
So many times, so many ways it proved its use and power
But at the end, all memories are Time’s food to devour.
“it’s all right now,” his Guardian said, “It’s okay for you to lose it.
“It served you well, but now you’re Home. Let sisters and brothers use it.”
